  • Albert Ding

    CO-PRESIDENT

    Albert Ding is a junior at Memphis University School. A passionate math enthusiast, he has qualified for the AIME multiple times, and competed in HMMT, ARML, Mu Alpha Theta nationals, MathCounts, AMC, TMTA, Math Madness, and Math Kangaroo. He is dedicated to expanding the organization's impact and fostering a vibrant math community. Outside of math, Albert enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, many other sports, and hanging out with friends.

  • Kevin Li

    CO-PRESIDENT

    Kevin Li is a sophomore at Montgomery Bell Academy. He has participated in MathCounts, AMC 10, TMTA, ARML, and Purple Comet. When he's not doing math, he can be found rock climbing, learning new things, playing violin, cooking, lifting, and avoiding cardio. He is dedicated to promoting a passion for math all across Tennessee.

  • Sarah Wang

    VICE-PRESIDENT

    Sarah Wang is a junior at Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet High School. An avid math competitor, Sarah has participated in the AMC 10, TMTA, ARML, and placed third place in the 2024 Purple Comet competition. Beyond her passion for math, Sarah enjoys figure skating, playing the violin and piano, and spending time with family and friends. Sarah also serves as the 2024-2025 Assistant District/City-Wide Outreach Coordinator for Hume-Fogg’s Mu Alpha Theta.

  • Eric Chen

    COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

    Eric Chen is a junior at Montgomery Bell Academy. With a strong affinity for geometry, Eric has competed in the AIME, AMC 8 and 10, Purple Comet, ARML, IML, and TMTA competitions. Beyond his academic pursuits, he enjoys playing soccer, tennis, and engaging in board and card games.

  • Youheng Zheng

    OUTREACH DIRECTOR

    Youheng Zheng is a junior at White Station High School. A dedicated math enthusiast, Youheng has qualified for the AIME three times and has competed in MathCounts, AMC, HMMT, Mu Alpha Theta State and Nationals, TMTA, and ARML. With a strong interest in geometry, he is eager to help grow the organization and connect with other math talents across the state. Outside of math, Youheng enjoys playing racquet sports and fishing. He’s also the go-to person for pressure washing!

  • Anirudh Kodukula

    FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

    Anirudh Kodukula is a junior at Central Magnet School. With a passion for algebraic topology, Anirudh has participated in numerous prestigious competitions, including the AMC 10/12, AIME, USAMTS, Stanford Math Tournament, and USaPhO. He has also attended PROMYS and SUMaC. Beyond math, Anirudh enjoys cooking, playing badminton, day trading, and spending time with friends.

  • Justin Guo

    COMPETITION COMMITTEE

    Justin Guo is a sophomore at Montgomery Bell Academy. With a passion for combinatorics, Justin has qualified for MathCounts Nationals twice, placing 92nd and 35th, and is a two-time AIME qualifier and three-time TMTA winner. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing chess, and writing. He is dedicated to providing opportunities for all students in Tennessee to learn and engage with math.

  • Benjamin Xiao

    COMPETITION COMMITTEE

    Benjamin Xiao is a junior at Central Magnet School. An avid geometer, he is a 2x AIME qualifier and USAMO qualifier, and he has competed in AMC, HMMT, PuMAC, USAMTS, and TMTA. He has also attended Canada/USA MathCamp twice. Besides math, he enjoys programming, doing puzzles, and playing both video games and card games. He is passionate about fostering an environment to develop problem solving skills and to encourage a further exploration of math beyond school.

  • William Peng

    COMPETITION COMMITTEE

    William Peng is a senior at Montgomery Bell Academy. With a focus on number theory, William has achieved significant accomplishments, including being a two-time MathCounts Chapter Champion, placing 3rd in the state, and qualifying for Mathcounts Nationals. He is also a three-time AIME qualifier. In his free time, William enjoys playing chess and hanging out with friends. He is passionate about encouraging problem-solving skills through unique math concepts not typically found in schools.

  • William Zhong

    TECHNICAL DEVELOPER

    William Zhong is a junior at Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet High School. With a strong interest in geometry, William has competed in AMC 10/12, Purple Comet, TMTA, and ARML competitions. He is passionate about programming, reading, tennis, and video games. He is eager to attend competitions and gain real experience by developing websites and programming applications that will be widely used.

  • Thien Nguyen

    TECHNICAL DEVELOPER

    Thien Nguyen is a junior at Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet High School. With a focus on algebra, Thien has competed in AMC, TMTA, and Purple Comet competitions. In his free time, he enjoys playing games. As Technical Director, Thien is ready to apply his skills and contribute to the success of the Tennessee Math Coalition.
